Shahril Jantan, a former National goalkeeper, is now the Head of Foundation (Goalkeeping) at the Lion City Sailors FC.
Shahril had an illustrious career - winning 6 League titles,  4 Singapore Cups, played in the AFC Cup & the Asian Champions League,  won the Tiger Cup in 2004 and had a training stint with Arsenal FC!
A late bloomer who only played "organised" football at 16, he tells us his life story. Shahril shares some interesting stories of his experience winning all those titles and what it takes to be a winner. The former ST Goalkeeper of the Year also reveals the pain of the 2002 Tiger Cup debacle. 
Goalkeepers are a special breed and times have changed - Shahril is so insightful with his observations with regards to the position and how certain tactical decisions may differ from the norm. All these and more.
